I saw that the topic post about the different kind of diseases is 1.5years old and I have a question because I tested it with the 2.46 version with -add disease target command. I threw 12 disease potions at the mammoth and his health reached 1 in no time so I wonder if it really is a max of 5dps and not counting his HP regeneration then it would take more than 500 seconds for his health to drop to 1. So I suppose that the mechanics has changed for all this time or is it like that only in the test version ?

What really is the effect of the disease potion and do they stack like descriped or each additional one adds more dps with no maximum ?

Also are those all the ways to cure disease:
1) Cure All potion
2) Nether potion or Thief's Nether Fade
3) Anti Magic potion or Priest's Anti Magic Shield
4) Sleeping at a Tent/Hut to prevent HP loss

anti magic doesnt heal it, i dun think and there has been cases of multi diseases and it killing fast. or low degeneration

subbing your guy also cures it E.g. your level 6 you got diseased you then choose a subclass = disease cured.

Yes I've just found out that anti magic potion doesn't cure it :/
So what about the stacking, has anyone tested that? I've just played 1v3 and I won with throwing 2 diseases. It seemed to be damaging them pretty well Smile
Doesn't anyone who has seen the code know the exact mechanics on that ?

disease stacks to the amount of diseases thrown to the target troll, but the cloud effect only stacks up to one of each disease type

it usually dmgs them pretty well if they do not eat(pubbies) ^__^

I would like to ask what type of damage is the disease because it is true that it can be casted on an immune to magic target so it's probably not magical, then is it physical ? And if it is then is it affected by the armor value ?

Also what is its AOE, does it only affect targets in a certain AOE to the target it is thrown at , at the moment of the throw or does it depend on the disease cloud and affect any enemies that come near it for the time the cloud is active ?
