Post suggestions on ability hotkeys, here are the basic spells with their current hotkey, feel free to copy and paste it with your own hotkeys for other spells too:

Unusable Hotkeys: [M]ove, [S]top, [H]old, [A]ttack, [P]atrol
Usable Hotkeys (preferably left hand):
Q W E R T
_ _ D F G
 Z X C V B

Common:
Spellbook - [Q] and [Z]
Sleep - [F] (Changed from [R])
Panic - [N]
Get Corpse - [C]
Eat Corpse - [E]

Hunter:
Net - [R]

Thief:
Teleport - [T]

Gatherer:
Item Radar - [R]

Scout:
Enemy Radar - [R]

You can suggest Spellbook spells too, just name - hotkey.
The new hotkeys will be implemented into the coming version.

your spellbook can also have Z as hotkey (second spellbook for subbed, and mage, gath and priest spellbook are Z too)

I think u mistyped that sleep used to be [R] instead of [E]

I must say most of the hotkeys are fine, maybe a change could be made with the following:

Eat corpse [E]: except that anyone ever uses the ability, using the hotkey is even less of the case, I only use it by accident, which is annoying sometimes. Changing this hotkey isn't that much of a necesity, but it could be changed to something else ([o] perhaps)

Get corpse[C]: the only annoying this about this is it's the same as cook meat, and sometimes when I mean to cook meat, but still have my unit selected when I draw the selection field, I pick the meat back up.

I think most of the ability hotkeys are fine, everyone uses them and is used to them, changing them would only be anoying and end up to a lot of misclicks.

Also some people have an AZERTY keyboard and looks like this:

[S] is unusable for Stop. Thanks skamigo on the mistype and [Z] spellbooks, most hotkey changes would most likely be for conflicting and inconvenient hotkeys.

For now, there is really little problems with the hotkeys, other than the fact that sleep is the same hotkey as several class abilities. Change the sleep hotkey to, say F, and I think mos of our problems will be solved.

WHAT?! Squatting is such a major part of ITT. You can't just remove that. One of the things that seperate a good from a bad player is how well he can control the base he is attacking at the same time as he is attacking and healing. And by making all buildings unsuable you remove the entire early game harassment. Making ITT an even more meta-game.

WHAT?! Squatting is such a major part of ITT. You can't just remove that. One of the things that seperate a good from a bad player is how well he can control the base he is attacking at the same time as he is attacking and healing. And by making all buildings unsuable you remove the entire early game harassment. Making ITT an even more meta-game.


Rush Tsunami. THAT'S how you're supposed to harass.
